I serve as a kindergarten teacher in a homeroom setting, teaching ESL students across all core subject areas. I plan and deliver engaging lessons in math, phonics, science, AI, and art that support language development while building foundational academic skills. I intentionally integrate character education into daily routines and instruction to support students’ social and emotional growth. I collaborate closely with my KG-2 team to align curriculum, share best practices, and support student success. I also maintain regular communication with parents to provide updates, build partnerships, and support student learning at home.

American STEM Prep - 

Gwanggyo, South Korea

As a kindergarten teacher, I designed and delivered engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with the American curriculum across multiple rotating subjects, including early literacy, math, science, and social studies. Working in an English-only speaking environment, I used clear, consistent language and visual supports to promote language development and comprehension for all students. I collaborated with a Korean co-teacher who assisted with classroom routines and student management, helping to ensure a smooth and supportive learning experience. I implemented differentiated instruction, hands-on activities, and play-based learning to meet the developmental needs of young learners.

Primary Hall Preparatory Charter School - Buffalo, New York

During my placement in a 3rd-grade classroom at Primary Hall, I actively designed and delivered engaging, standards-aligned lessons across various subjects. I worked closely with my mentor teacher to implement differentiated instruction, small-group interventions, and hands-on learning experiences to meet the diverse needs of students. Through ongoing assessment and reflection, I adapted my teaching strategies to support student growth and engagement. This experience strengthened my classroom management skills, deepened my understanding of instructional best practices, and reinforced my passion for fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment. 

King Center Charter School - Buffalo, New York

As an Educator Support Specialist at King Center Charter School, I worked closely with 3rd-grade students to deliver high-quality instruction tailored to their learning needs. My responsibilities included planning and executing whole-group lessons that align with curriculum standards while fostering an engaging classroom environment. Additionally, I provided targeted small-group instruction for students needing enrichment or Response to Intervention (RTI) support. By collaborating with fellow educators, analyzing student data, and adjusting lesson plans to meet diverse learning needs, I contributed to creating a supportive and effective learning environment for all students. 

ES by ZUMA - Malibu, California

At ES by Zuma, I was responsible for developing and facilitating English lessons for foreign ESL students between the ages of 14 and 18. My role involved designing engaging and interactive lessons that improved students’ English proficiency in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. By incorporating real-world applications and fostering an immersive language-learning experience, I helped students build confidence and fluency in their communication skills. Working with older ESL learners allowed me to refine my instructional strategies and develop techniques to cater to diverse linguistic backgrounds and learning styles. 

Eon Academy - 

Dongtan, South Korea

During my time at Eon Education in South Korea, I taught English to primary and secondary students aged 7-15, covering a range of subjects, including literature, listening, writing, journalism, multimedia, conversational speaking, and presentational speaking. My lessons followed an American curriculum, and I prioritized an interactive and student-centered approach to learning. Through differentiated instruction, multimedia resources, and project-based learning, I ensured that students remained engaged and motivated. Additionally, I assessed student progress through various formative and summative assessments, providing feedback that guided their language development. Teaching in a multicultural setting strengthened my ability to adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs and cultural perspectives. 

Rajavinit Mathayom School - Bangkok, Thailand

At Rajavinit Mathayom School, I worked as an English Core, English Supplemental, Health, and Geography teacher for secondary students. My role encompassed full-time lesson planning, curriculum development, and student assessments. I delivered dynamic and engaging lessons, ensuring students had a strong grasp of both language and subject-specific content. Following an American curriculum, I designed interactive activities that reinforced critical thinking and language comprehension skills. In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I provided academic support and feedback to students, helping them achieve their learning goals. Teaching in Thailand provided me with valuable experience in working within an international educational framework and catering to students with varying levels of English proficiency.
